The Skandi-Guard DVR-N004P is based upon Windows 7 Home edition. This means that it is very easy to connect a printer or back-up unit as long as these units are supported by Windows 7.

The Skandi-Guard DVR-N004P offers the possibillity of notification in connection with alarm. It is also possible to start recording of the alarm event on the notification PC.

The Skandi-Guard DVR-N004P offers recording of IP cameras in the quality supported by the cameras.

The compression can be set to either MJPEG, MPEG or H.264 and the level of compression can be set individually for each camera.

A specially developed software, the twentyfourseven software, monitors the system constantly and reports any system abnormalities. In case of a system error, this software will try to solve the problem and

automatically restart the system. The twentyfourseven constantly check that system, hard disk and cpu temperature are within allowed limits and that the power supply is performing according to specifications. Also the S.M.A.R.T status of the hard drives is checked.
The twentyfourseven software logs all events and an e-mail can be sent to security manager.
